意味・解説
停止とは、動きや活動が完全に止まり再開するまで変化がない状態を指す名詞です。交通や機械の作動だけでなく、話し合いや交渉などの進行が途中で止まった事態にも使います。原因がはっきりしないまま続くこともあり、再開の見通しが立たない状況も表現できます。
