歴史に関する
解説 Definition
『歴史に関する』『史実に基づく』という意味で、学問・資料・背景・物語設定などを説明するときに使う。過去の出来事や時代の流れとの結びつきを示す語。出来事が重大だという意味の『歴史的な』とは重点が異なる。

Historical means related to history or to things that happened in the past. It does not always mean important; for that meaning, English often uses the word "historic" instead.
