解説 Definition
学校・大学・施設・組織などの外で行われること、またはその内部に正式には属さないことを表す形容詞。教育では学外講座や学外活動、競技では他校や外部参加者を含む校外試合・対外活動などについて使われる。
Extramural means happening or existing outside the walls or limits of a school, university, or similar institution. It is often used for activities, classes, or sports that involve people from outside the institution or take place away from it. The word is mainly formal.
