主義
解説 Definition
ism は、政治・思想・芸術・宗教などの「主義」や「思想体系」を表す名詞です。単独で使うと、特定の -ism で終わる考え方や、主義一般を少し批判的に指すことがあります。
A political, religious, artistic, or intellectual system of beliefs, especially one whose name ends in “-ism.” Used independently, it can refer to such doctrines in general and may express a slightly critical attitude toward them.
