解説 Definition
サシチョウバエによって媒介される寄生性の原虫で、リーシュマニア症の原因となる。皮膚に病変を生じる型から内臓に重い症状を引き起こす型まであり、熱帯・亜熱帯地域を中心に感染がみられる。
