航空機の主翼後縁の外側にある可動式の操縦翼面。左右を逆向きに動かして揚力差を作り、機体を左右に傾けるロール操作を行うために使われる。離着陸用の装置ではなく、横方向の姿勢制御を担う基本的な飛行制御面の一つで、一般にエルロンとも呼ばれる。
