バーテンダーとは、バーやレストランなどでカウンターの内側に立ち、酒類を含む飲み物を調合・提供する職業の人を指す。飲み物の知識だけでなく、接客スキルやコミュニケーション能力も重要な職業である。
A person whose job is to prepare and serve alcoholic and other drinks, usually from behind the counter in a bar, restaurant, or similar establishment. Bartenders may also take orders, talk with customers, and manage bar supplies.
