解説 Definition
細胞表面に見られる短い毛状構造で、液体や粒子を移動させたり、一部の生物が移動するのに用いられたりします。顕微鏡でのみ観察できる微細な器官です。
Cilia are very small hair-like parts on the surface of some cells or tiny living things. They usually move in order to push liquid or particles, or to help the organism move.
