解説 Definition
crowdfunding は、多くの人から少額ずつ資金を集めるクラウドファンディングという意味です。日本語のカタカナ語とほぼ同じですが、英語では寄付型、購入型、投資型など幅広い資金調達の仕組みに使われます。
Crowdfunding is a method of raising money for a project, business, product, or cause by collecting contributions from many people, usually through an online platform. Contributions may take the form of donations, advance purchases, loans, or investments.
