dosing は dose の現在分詞・動名詞で、人や動物に一定量の薬などを投与する動作や工程を表します。医療・薬学では、投薬量や投与の手順について述べる際によく使います。
Dosing is the act or process of giving a person or animal a measured amount of medicine or another substance. As a present participle, it can also describe someone who is currently administering such an amount.
使い方 Usage
- dose a patient with medicine の形で、患者に薬を投与することを表します。進行形なら is dosing です。 Use dose a patient with medicine for administering medicine to a patient. The continuous form is is dosing.
- dosing instructions は「投薬指示」、dosing schedule は「投薬スケジュール」です。 Dosing instructions give directions for administration; a dosing schedule sets out its timing.
