fiber / fibre（繊維）を知っていれば、その形容詞版が fibrous。-ous は dangerous, famous などと同じく「〜っぽい・〜に富む」の語尾なので、「繊維が目立つ感じ」とつなげると覚えやすいです。植物、筋の多い食べ物、組織などで、細い筋が集まった見た目や手触りを表します。smooth（なめらかな）や soft と反対側の質感として置くと定着しやすく、fabric のような「布そのもの」とは別だと区別すると混同しにくいです。
