To loll means to sit, lie, or hang in a loose, relaxed, and often lazy way. It is commonly used for the body, head, or tongue when it falls or rests without energy.

「力が抜けて、どこかがだらんと垂れる場面」で覚えると残りやすい語。よく出るのは tongue/head lolling や loll on the sofa で、舌・頭・体が支えを失ってゆるく倒れ込む感じ。単なる lie（横になる）より無気力さがあり、lounge（くつろぐ）よりだらしない。犬が舌を出している姿や、疲れてソファに沈む人を一枚絵で結ぶと定着しやすい。綴りが短いのでネットの lol と見間違えないよう注意。
