medially はまず medial を見抜くと覚えやすいです。medical ではなく、median（中央値・中央線）や medium（真ん中あたり）と同じく「中央」に関係する語群だと押さえるのがコツ。-ly が付いているので「内側の」という形容詞ではなく「内側へ／中央線に向かって」という動きや向きを表す副詞になります。解剖では laterally（外側へ）と対で出やすいので、medially = 中央寄り、laterally = 外側寄り、というセットで覚えると混同しにくいです。
Look for `medial` inside it, not `medical`. Think of `median` and `medium`, both linked to the middle. It is often learned best as the opposite of `laterally`: `medially` means toward the middle, while `laterally` means toward the side.
