overtime の複数形で、主に北米のスポーツで、一つの試合に設けられた複数の延長時間・延長戦を指します。労働の「残業」を表す overtime は通常不可算で、複数の時間数を明示するときは overtime hours とします。
Overtimes is the plural of the countable sports use of overtime and refers to two or more extra periods of play used to decide a tied game. In the work sense, overtime is normally uncountable; use overtime or overtime hours rather than overtimes.
