酸素と他の元素が結合した化学物質。金属、非金属を問わず様々な酸化物が存在する。
An oxide is a chemical compound made when oxygen combines with another element. This word is common in science, especially in chemistry and materials. Different oxides can have very different properties, such as rust or carbon dioxide.
