修辞学や言葉遣いの観点から、または修辞的なテクニックを用いて行われる様子を表します。実質的な意図ではなく、聞き手に効果を与えるための言葉遣いや表現の手法に基づいた方法を指します。
Rhetorically means in a way that is meant to create an effect or persuade people, rather than simply give information. It is often used when talking about style in speech or writing, and sometimes about questions that do not need an answer.
