まず rhetoric という関連語とセットで覚えると定着しやすいです。-al / -ical は「〜に関する」の形容詞を作るので、rhetorical は「話し方・表現の工夫に関する」という感覚。ポイントは「内容が正しいか」より「どう印象づけ、どう説得するか」に重心があること。rhetorical question は定番で、答えを求めず強調のために投げる問い。logical が論理の筋道寄りなら、rhetorical は言い回しや説得効果寄り、と対比すると混同しにくいです。
