困難や障害、恐れなどを乗り越えて克服したことを表す動詞の過去形・過去分詞形。物理的に高いものを越える場合にも使えるが、例文のように問題や課題に打ち勝ち、先へ進めたことを述べる場面で特によく用いられる。
