上下や前後に弾むように繰り返し動くことを表す動詞。水面を漂うコルクや波に揺れるボートといった様子に使われる。頭を動かしてリズムをとるときなどにも使える。
Bobbing means moving up and down quickly and lightly. It is often used for things floating on water, heads moving in a crowd, or objects that rise and fall repeatedly. The movement usually looks gentle or repeated rather than strong.
