歯の構造における、エナメル質の下に位置する硬い象牙色の組織。歯髄に近く、虫歯が進行するとこの部分までに達する。
Dentine is the hard inner layer of a tooth, found under the enamel and around the pulp. The word is mainly used in dentistry and anatomy; American English often spells it as "dentin."
