イギリス人とは、イングランド出身または国籍を持つ人物を指す言葉である。広義ではイギリス（グレートブリテン及び北アイルランド連合王国）の国民を指すこともある。
An Englishman is a man from England or a man who identifies as English. The term is sometimes used loosely for a British man, but that broader use can be inaccurate because the United Kingdom also includes Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
