解説 Definition
染色体を一組だけ持つ状態を表す生物学の形容詞。通常は二倍体に対して用いられ、配偶子や一部の菌類・藻類などの細胞や個体を説明するときに使う。遺伝的には各染色体が一つずつ存在することを示す。
