Reexamined means looked at or studied again, usually more carefully than before. It is used when someone checks facts, ideas, evidence, or plans a second time to make a better judgment.

ラテン語 examinare（秤で量る→吟味する）に接頭辞 re-（再び）が付いた語。examen（秤の針・試験）が語根で、examine（検査する）や examination（試験）と同根。「もう一度秤にかけて精査する」が原義で、再検討・再審査の意味になった。
`Reexamined` comes from `re-` "again" and `examined`, from Latin *examinare*. That Latin verb first meant "to weigh" or "test," from *examen*, the pointer of a balance, and later developed the sense of close inspection. So the word keeps the older idea of putting something back on the scales for another careful check.
