覚え方のコツ
re- は「もう一度」、examine は exam と同じ核を持つので、まず examine=「詳しく調べる」を固めると reexamine は機械的に「再調査する」と取れます。review が見直し全般なのに対し、reexamine は evidence, assumptions, records などを改めて精査し、判断を出し直す感じが強め。-ed が付いた reexamined は「再検討した／された」。The case was reexamined. のような審査・調査の場面と一緒に覚えると残りやすい。
