ボート競技でクルー全体のペースを設定する選手。船の最後ろ（艫側）に位置し、他の漕ぎ手が従うべき速度とリズムを決定する。
In rowing, a stroker is the rower who sits nearest the back of the boat and sets the rhythm for the team. Other rowers follow this person's timing and pace. The word is mainly used in boat racing and rowing discussions.
