まず tri- を見たら three を思い出して「3つ」を固定します。triptych は絵1枚の名前というより、「3つの面で1作品を作る形式」として覚えると残りやすい語です。中央に主場面、左右に開閉する板が付く祭壇画の形を頭に置くと定着します。2面なら diptych、もっと多ければ polyptych なので、この語だけ単独で覚えず“枚数セット”で整理すると混同しにくいです。美術史や宗教画の文脈で出たら triptych を疑う、という使用場面のフックも有効です。
