allergic は「アレルギー性の」「アレルギーがある」という意味の形容詞です。日本語の「アレルギー」は名詞として使うことが多いですが、英語の allergic は名詞の前や be allergic to の形で使います。

Allergic is derived from allergy with the adjective-forming suffix -ic. Allergy was coined in the early twentieth century from Greek elements: allos, meaning “other” or “different,” and ergon, meaning “work” or “action.” It originally described an altered bodily reaction. The adjective allergic subsequently developed for a person affected by such a reaction or for symptoms and responses produced by it.
