別々にあったものが一つに合流したり、境目がなくなるように融合した状態を表す形容詞。川や血管が合わさる場合だけでなく、医学では発疹や病変が互いにつながって広い一続きの面になる場合にも使われる。
Confluent means flowing together or joining into one. It is often used for rivers that meet, but it can also describe ideas, cultures, or influences that come together and blend.
