湿地帯、沼地。低く湿った地形で植生が生育する地域を指します。
Fenland is a low, flat area of wet land, often with grass, reeds, and soft ground. It is used in geography and environmental contexts, especially for natural marshy regions. In some places, fenland may also refer to wet land that has been partly drained for farming.
