解説 Definition
視神経が傷つき、視野が狭くなっていくことがある眼科疾患です。眼圧が高い場合が多いものの、眼圧が正常範囲でも起こることがあり、放置すると失明につながる可能性があります。
Glaucoma is a medical condition that damages the eye, often because of pressure inside it. It can slowly reduce vision and may lead to blindness if it is not treated. This is a technical health word usually used by doctors or in medical information.
