車の前部に取り付けられた、反射鏡が付いた強力で明るいライトを指します。夜間や悪天候時に道路を照らし、前方を見えやすくするための装置です。
A headlight is a strong light at the front of a vehicle, used to help the driver see the road and to make the vehicle visible. The word is most often used for cars, motorcycles, and bicycles. A vehicle usually has two headlights.
