Memory Tip
intersperse A with B は「Aの中にBを散りばめる」、be interspersed with B は「Bが所々に入っている」という頻出形です。

It comes from the Latin “interspersus,” formed from “inter-,” meaning “between,” and “spargere,” meaning “to scatter.” Its structure reflects the idea of scattering things between other things.
