金融や企業の報酬制度で、業績不振や不適切な行為、将来の損失リスクなどを理由に、支給予定のボーナスや報酬を減らすこと、またはその減額措置を指す。bonusの反対概念として使われることが多く、保険分野で不利益な査定を表す場合もある。
