フランス語に由来する英語の敬称である。貴族階級の女性や上流階級の婦人に対する丁寧な呼び方として使用される。特にイギリスの貴族社会で一般的に用いられた。
Milady is a very polite and old-fashioned way to address a woman of high social rank. It is mostly found in historical stories, formal settings, or playful imitation of old speech. It is not common in normal modern conversation.
