鉱物学に関する性質を持つこと。鉱物の組成や構造の研究に関連する形容詞。
覚え方のコツ
mineralogical は mineral（鉱物）+ -log-（学・研究）+ -ical（…に関する）と分けると覚えやすい。まず mineral water の mineral を起点にすると意味が安定する。geological が「地質学的な」なら、mineralogical はもっと対象をしぼって「鉱物そのものの性質・分類・組成」に寄る語。mineralogical analysis, mineralogical composition のような学術的な組み合わせで見ると定着しやすい。
