logosはlogoの複数形で、logoはlogotypeの短縮です。logotypeはギリシャ語logos（ことば）+ typos（型）に由来し、もとは図柄より「社名を一まとまりの活字で組むこと」でした。logicやdialogueもlogosと同じ根です。
