解説 Definition
retweet は、SNSで他人の投稿を自分のフォロワーに再共有すること、またはその再共有された投稿という意味です。日本語の「リツイート」とほぼ同じですが、英語では名詞としてだけでなく動詞としても使われます。
A retweet is the act of sharing another user’s social-media post with one’s own followers, or the shared post itself. The term is associated especially with the platform formerly called Twitter, although it may be used more broadly when discussing social-media sharing.
