sexual + -ization と分けると覚えやすいです。-ize は「〜化する」、-ation は「その過程・状態」なので、modernize → modernization と同じ型で「性的な方向へしてしまうこと」。sexuality が「性・性的性質」そのものなのに対し、sexualization は media sexualization of women / children のように、人や物を“性的な見方で扱う”文脈で出ます。objectification と近いですが、こちらは特に“性的に見る方向へ寄せる”ニュアンスです。
