金属製の調整機構で、スクリューねじを回してロープやケーブルの張力を調整するための装置。建築現場や船舶、テント設営などで張力を調整するために用いられる。
A turnbuckle is a metal device used to tighten or adjust the tension of a wire, rope, cable, or rod. It is common in construction, ships, fences, and other structures that need strong support. You change the tension by turning its middle section.
