adagio は、音楽で「ゆっくりとしたテンポ」またはそのテンポで演奏される楽章を指す語です。日本語の「アダージョ」とほぼ同じ意味ですが、英語では楽譜の速度指定や曲の一部を説明するときによく使われます。
