高い山頂や崖の上にある鷲の巣。一般的には高い場所や隔離された場所を指す。
A nest of a large bird of prey, especially one built high on a cliff or mountain. It can also be used more generally or in literary writing for a home or lookout in a high place. The spelling "eyrie" is also common.
