解説 Definition
体の免疫系が自身の細胞や組織を誤って攻撃する医学的状態。本来は外敵から身を守る免疫システムが、自己の細胞を敵と認識してしまう。
Autoimmunity is a condition in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks its own cells or tissues. The word is mainly used in medicine and biology when talking about diseases caused by this harmful self-attack.
