掘削後の穴を埋める、または土で埋め戻す。建設工事で、穴や溝を土で埋める作業を指す。
Backfill is soil, sand, or other material used to fill a hole or space after building or digging work. It is common in construction, mining, and road work, where the material is placed back to support or cover something.
