キチン（chitin）とは、昆虫や甲殻類の外骨格を構成する主要な多糖類。植物の細胞壁にも含まれる天然物質。
Chitin is a strong natural substance that forms the outer covering of insects, crabs, and similar animals. It also appears in the cell walls of fungi. This is a scientific word mainly used in biology and chemistry.
