建物や乗り物などが、古さや手入れ不足でひどく傷んでいる状態。壊れた部分があり、大きな修理を必要とする。
In a state of serious disrepair because of age, neglect, or prolonged lack of maintenance. The adjective is commonly applied to buildings, vehicles, and other structures that are shabby, damaged, and in need of substantial repair.

Dilapidated is the adjectival use of the past participle of dilapidate. The verb comes from Latin dilapidare, historically meaning to squander or cause ruin, and is associated with dis- in the sense of scattering and lapis, “stone.” The image of stones being scattered or a structure being pulled apart helped support the later sense of buildings and possessions falling into serious disrepair through waste or neglect.
