解説 Definition
heartily は、気持ちをこめて「心から」という意味で使われるほか、笑う・食べるなどの動作を「存分に、勢いよく」行う意味でも使う副詞。賛成や推薦を強く示したり、活気よく十分に行う様子を表したりするときに用いられる。
Heartily means in a warm, sincere, or energetic way. It can also mean greatly or with strong enjoyment, especially in expressions about eating, laughing, or agreeing. The word is a little formal in some uses.

「heartily」は古英語 heorte「心」をもつ heart に、形容詞語尾 -y と副詞語尾 -ly が重なった形。heart や hearty も同根で、「心から」が胸の奥の中心部からという感覚だと見えてくる。
