層状に整然と流れる流体の流れ。乱流とは対照的に、粘性が支配的で、層が互いに平行に流れる状態。
Laminar describes a smooth type of flow in which liquid or gas moves in even layers without much mixing. It is used in physics, engineering, and fluid science. The opposite idea is turbulent flow, where movement is more chaotic.
