`reread` はまず `read` が分かれば覚えやすく、先頭の `re-` を「もう一度」と足すだけで意味がかなり見えます。`rewrite` `review` などの再実行系の語と同じ発想でまとめると定着しやすいです。実際にも `reread the email / the passage / the book` のように「理解を深めるために読み直す」でよく使います。ざっと見返す `look over` より、もう一度ちゃんと読む感じが強いと押さえると混同しにくいです。
