solve を知っていれば、そのまま「solve できる状態」が solvable。-able は washable, readable と同じく「〜できる」という形容詞の型なので、語尾ごと覚えると応用が利く。数学なら a solvable equation、一般には a solvable problem / conflict が定番。unsolvable と対で覚えると「解決可能か不可能か」が整理しやすい。似た形の soluble は「溶ける」で別語なので混同に注意。
