胸骨

胸部中央にある扁平な骨で、肋骨がつながる骨です。心臓と肺を保護する重要な骨格構造です。
The sternum is the flat bone in the middle front of the chest. It connects with the ribs and helps protect important organs such as the heart and lungs. In less technical English, it is often called the breastbone.
