If something is uncompleted, it has not been finished yet. It is used for work, plans, forms, or tasks that are still missing some part. In everyday English, incomplete is often more common.
覚え方のコツ Memory Tip
まず complete を軸に覚える。「完全な／完了した」が complete、先頭に un- が付くと反対になり、「完了していない」とそのまま読める。completed task なら「終わった仕事」、uncompleted task なら「終わっていない仕事」と対比すると定着しやすい。似た incomplete は「中身が欠けていて不完全」、uncompleted は「本来終えるはずの作業がまだ終わっていない」ニュアンス。project, form, assignment など“仕上げる対象”と一緒に覚えると使い分けしやすい。
